🇨🇦 Ship to Canada
Your Canadian buyers are no longer a dead end. TCG Quick Ship now purchases USPS First-Class Package International Service (FCPIS) labels, with the customs declaration filled out for you.
Canadian orders work everywhere labels do — marketplace orders on the Process Orders page, hand-built orders from Create Order Batch, and one-off labels from Purchase Labels.
What's Included
- Customs handled for you — Declared value, contents, and tariff code are filled in from the order. USPS prints the CN22 right on the label, so there's nothing extra to attach.
- Works with both providers — Buy through TCG Quick Ship, or through your own EasyPost account for your negotiated rates.
- Canadian addresses everywhere — Province dropdowns and postal-code validation on every address form, including editing a marketplace order's address.
- End-of-day SCAN forms — Canadian parcels go on your manifest alongside domestic shipments.
- Tracking as usual — International tracking numbers flow into Shipped Orders like everything else.
How To Use It
- Open a Canadian order — or set the country to Canada on any address form
- The parcel type switches to First-Class Package International automatically
- Enter your package dimensions and weight
- Purchase the label like any other
Before Your First Canadian Label
Add a phone number to your store. Head to Ship Settings and add one to your ship-from store. Carriers require a contact phone on every international customs form, and we'll block the purchase without it rather than let it fail at the counter.
What's Different About Shipping to Canada
A few things work differently across the border, and it's worth knowing before you quote a buyer:
- No letter or PWE rates. USPS First-Class Mail International is documents-only — it legally cannot carry trading cards. Every Canadian order ships as a package, and postage typically starts around $18. If you sell cheap singles to Canada, price accordingly.
- No insurance. FCPIS includes no carrier coverage, and PIP insurance covers domestic transit only. The insurance options are hidden on Canadian orders rather than sold to you.
- No signature confirmation. USPS doesn't offer it on this service.
- Return labels stay domestic. USPS postage can only originate in the US, so a return label from a Canadian buyer isn't something USPS can sell. Return Labels will tell you this if you try.
Why This Matters for TCG Sellers
Canada is the single biggest market outside the US for TCG singles, and "I don't ship international" leaves real money on the table — especially for higher-value cards where $18 of postage is a rounding error on the sale.
Now it's the same three clicks as a domestic label.
