Track Insurance Claims from the Shipped Orders Page

Flag shipments that need an insurance claim, see when they become eligible, and track each one through Flagged, Filed, and Resolved.

You can now flag shipments that need an insurance claim right from the Shipped Orders page, and track each one through to resolution.

This is useful when a package is lost or damaged and you need to keep tabs on which shipments still need a claim filed, which are waiting on PIP, and which are already resolved — without digging back through your order history.

What It Does

Every shipped order now shows a claim-eligibility line based on its ship date:

  • Lost packages become claim-eligible 30 days after shipment
  • Damaged packages can be claimed any time, no waiting period
  • All claims must be filed within 180 days of the ship date

When a shipment needs attention, click Flag for claim to start tracking it. From there you can mark it Filed once you've submitted the claim to PIP, and Resolved once it's settled. Flagged shipments show a status badge in the order list, and you can filter the page down to just the claims you're tracking.

Why It Helps

  • know exactly when a lost-package claim opens and when the 180-day window closes, without doing the math yourself
  • keep a running list of every shipment that needs a claim, instead of relying on memory
  • filter straight to flagged, filed, or resolved claims when you're following up
  • file directly from the claim dialog — it links straight to PIP's claim form

Built on the Same Page You Already Use

Claim tracking lives inside the existing Shipped Orders workflow — no new page to learn. Expand any order to flag it, advance its status, or file a claim, right alongside your tracking and label details.
