Split Orders Before You Ship

Break a multi-card order into numbered sub-orders before fulfillment so each shipment can be picked and processed separately.

You can now split a single multi-card order into multiple numbered sub-orders directly from the fulfillment screen.

This is useful when one buyer's order needs to ship in separate envelopes or parcels, when part of the order is stored in a different box, or when you want to stage fulfillment in smaller chunks without recreating the order by hand.

What It Does

When you click Split Order on an eligible order, Quick Ship opens a visual split builder where you can:

  • create additional split groups up to the number of cards in the order
  • assign each card to a specific split with one tap or click
  • review the resulting numbered orders before confirming

Once confirmed, the original order is replaced with numbered sub-orders like AA-BB-1, AA-BB-2, and so on.

Why It Helps

  • keep partially separated inventory organized during fulfillment
  • ship part of an order now and prepare the rest separately
  • reduce mistakes when one order needs multiple mailpieces
  • avoid manually rebuilding the same order into multiple shipments

Built for the Same Picking Workflow

The split flow uses the same fulfillment context you're already working in, including card thumbnails, responsive layout, and a mobile-friendly experience for quick reassignment.
