Dragon Ball Super: Fusion World Is Now Scannable

Card scanning now reads Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World — every booster, starter deck, Manga Booster, promo and Energy Marker, matched by the card's artwork and its printed code.

🐉 Fusion World Joins the Scanner

Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World is the eleventh game you can scan. Head to Inventory → Scan Cards, pick Dragon Ball Super: Fusion World, and drop your stack in. Everything after that works the way it already does for every other game.

🎴 What's Covered

Card typeIn the catalog
BoostersAwakened Pulse (FB01) through Brightness of Hope (FB11)
Starter decksStarter Deck 1: Son Goku through Starter Deck EX: The Beat of Ki
SpecialsManga Booster 01 and 02, Story Booster 01, the Alternate Art Reprints
Event cardsPre-Release and Release Event cards, tournament and championship promos
Energy MarkersAll of them
FinishesNormal, Holofoil

That's every Fusion World card TCGplayer carries, about 4,500 card faces. New sets arrive automatically as they release.

👀 It Recognizes the Art, Then Reads the Card

Fusion World is the first game where we built the image catalog ourselves. Every card face TCGplayer lists is in it, and your scan is compared against all of them, so the scanner knows what the card looks like before it reads a word.

When the artwork is a clear match, the card is identified right there. When it isn't, the scanner reads the bottom band of the card, where Fusion World prints both the name and the code:

  • The code is read exactly as printed: FB01-015, FS01-05, SB01-031, E-02, prefix and zero padding included. That code is what pins the card.
  • The small block on the far left (R1, R2) is the regulation mark, not the card number, and we ignore it. So are the power value and the numbers in the rules text.
  • Leaders are double-sided. Scan whichever face is up; both resolve to the same card.
  • Subtitles keep their colon: Trunks : Future and Son Gohan : Adolescence match the catalog however the colon is spaced.

✋ The Cards We Deliberately Send to Review

A wrong match costs more than a missing one. Fusion World has a lot of near-twins, so these get a second look instead of a guess:

  • Parallels never match on artwork alone. Story Booster 01 cards come in a plain and a (Dragon Ball Pattern) or (Alternate Art) version with the same name and number. When the art can't tell them apart with confidence, the card is read before anything is matched.
  • Stamped prints go to review. Pre-Release, Release Event and Judge cards carry a gold stamp and share their name and number with the regular printing. You pick the right one from both candidates.
  • The set is never guessed. Fusion World doesn't print the set name on the card, so we match on the name and code and never on a guessed set. A reprint can't quietly snap to the original printing.

If the whole stack is from one release, set the batch's set before you scan and the reprints sort themselves out.

📤 Listing Them Out

Scanned Fusion World cards list to eBay (with your scan as the listing photo, front and back), to CardNexus, and export to TCGplayer as a Staged Pricing CSV.

In your eBay connection settings you can give Fusion World its own store category and description template, just like every other game.

ManaPool and Misprint don't carry Fusion World, so list these cards on eBay, CardNexus or TCGplayer.

🧾 Still True For Every Game

  • English cards, one card per image.
  • Condition is a batch default you override per card. We don't read condition off the image.
  • Your pricing rules run the moment a card is identified.
  • Nothing goes live until you review and commit it.
  • Scanning is free and unlimited while it's in open beta.

Got a card we read wrong? Hit Report misread. It sends us the image and the full match trail, and it's how every game gets tuned.
