TCG QuickShip Link: Automatic TCGplayer Orders & Tracking
TCG QuickShip Link is a browser extension that connects your signed-in TCGplayer Seller Portal to Quick Ship. New orders flow in on their own, and tracking numbers flow back out after you ship. No packing-slip PDFs to download, no CSV to upload.
How It Works
TCGplayer has no public API, so Quick Ship has always relied on you to carry files back and forth: download packing slips, upload them, export a tracking CSV, import it. Link removes the carrying. Once you sign in to the Seller Portal in your browser, the extension makes the same requests your browser already makes when you use the portal, and relays the results to your Quick Ship account.
Every request comes from your computer, your IP address and your signed-in session. Quick Ship's servers never talk to TCGplayer on your behalf.
Install the Extension
Install TCG QuickShip Link from the Chrome Web Store. It works in Chrome and in other Chromium browsers that install from the Chrome Web Store, such as Edge and Brave.
The first time you open the extension it asks for access to two sites: tcgplayer.com (the Seller Portal) and tcgquickship.com (your account). Click Allow access and confirm the browser's prompt. Those are the only two sites it can ever talk to.
Pair It with Quick Ship
Pairing links one browser to your Quick Ship account. You need a TCGplayer connection first: if you have not set one up yet, follow step 1 of the TCGplayer integration guide.
- In Quick Ship, open Connections and find the TCGplayer card. Under TCG QuickShip Link, click Pair a browser.
- A pairing code appears. In Chrome, Quick Ship hands the code to the extension for you and the dialog closes on its own once pairing completes.
- If the dialog stays open, click the extension's icon in your browser toolbar, paste the code into Pairing code and click Pair.
A code works once and expires after ten minutes. If it expires, click Pair a browser again for a new one. You can pair more than one browser, for example a shop computer and a laptop; each shows up as its own row on the card.
Choose What Link Does
Once a browser is paired, the TCGplayer card shows a switch for each job. Turn on only what you want; nothing runs until you say so.
| Switch | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Import orders | On | Checks your Ready to Ship queue every few minutes and imports new orders. Each imported order reserves its cards in your Quick Ship inventory and lowers the quantity on your other marketplaces, exactly as eBay and ManaPool orders do. |
| Push tracking | On | After you buy labels, tracking numbers go back to TCGplayer and the orders are marked shipped. Letters and flats without tracking are marked shipped without a number, the same rule the CSV export follows. |
| Read live inventory | On | A daily read of what TCGplayer actually holds, so the TCGplayer listings tabs in Quick Ship can show you where your records and TCGplayer disagree. You can also trigger one with Refresh from TCGplayer on the TCGplayer listings page. |
| Sync quantities | Off | When a card sells on another marketplace, Link lowers its quantity on TCGplayer so you do not oversell. It only ever lowers quantities; it never raises them or creates listings. With this and Import orders both on, TCGplayer also becomes a cross-listing destination while your browser is online. |
| Push prices | Off | Reserved for sending My Store Price changes to TCGplayer. Not active yet: turning it on does nothing today. It will light up in a future release. |
Ship Orders Without the Files
With Link paired, the TCGplayer source on the Process Orders page gains a Sync Link orders button. Click it instead of uploading packing slips: the orders Link has imported load straight into a new batch, with the same pick slip, packing slips and label purchase as before.
After you buy labels, click the TCGplayer sync button in the batch actions. Quick Ship queues the tracking numbers for your paired browser, which pushes them the next time it checks in, usually within a few minutes. Each order shows a badge while it waits and once it has been pushed. The Export CSV for TCGplayer button stays right next to it if you ever want the old way.
You can still upload packing-slip PDFs for orders Link has not imported. If a slip contains an order Link already imported, Quick Ship uses Link's copy of it so nothing is reserved twice.
Before You Rely on It
- Keep the browser open and signed in. Link only runs while the paired browser is running and signed in to the Seller Portal. Jobs pause when it is closed or signed out and resume on their own when you are back. Orders are never lost: they are picked up on the next check-in.
- Not affiliated with TCGplayer. TCG QuickShip Link is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with TCGplayer. It uses your signed-in seller session the same way you do in a browser.
- TCGplayer can change or block this at any time. Link talks to the Seller Portal the way the portal's own pages do, and TCGplayer can change that without notice. If Link stops working, the packing-slip upload and CSV export keep working.
- Beta software, provided as is. Check the first few orders and tracking pushes yourself before trusting it with a busy day. You are responsible for verifying any action it performs on your TCGplayer account.
Status Badges & Troubleshooting
Each paired browser on the TCGplayer card shows one of three badges. The extension's popup shows the same state along with the time of the last sync and how many orders it has imported.
| Badge | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Online | The browser checked in recently and is signed in to TCGplayer. | Nothing. It is working. |
| Sign in to TCGplayer | The browser is running but your Seller Portal session has expired or you signed out. | Open the Seller Portal in that browser and sign in. Link resumes on its next check-in. |
| Browser closed | No check-in for more than twelve minutes. The browser is closed, asleep, or the extension was removed. | Open the browser. If the extension is gone, reinstall it and pair again. |
Common questions
- An order says it needs review
- Link refuses to guess. If an order was cancelled or already shipped on TCGplayer before the push ran, or TCGplayer did not confirm a change, the job is set aside instead of retried. Check the order in the Seller Portal and, if it still needs tracking, use Export CSV for TCGplayer for that order.
- How do I disconnect a browser?
- Click the trash icon next to it on the TCGplayer card. That revokes its pairing token immediately; the extension notices on its next check-in and goes back to the pairing screen. You can also click Forget pairing in the extension popup, but revoke from Quick Ship if you no longer have access to that computer. Disconnecting TCGplayer entirely revokes every paired browser.
- Does it work in Firefox or Safari?
- Not yet. Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers for now.
- Can it run when my computer is off?
- No. That is the point of running in your browser: the requests come from you, not from us. An always-on desktop version is planned.
